My shipping address is wrong! Can I get it fixed? +

We know accidents happen! We ask that you email us at hello@akidsco.com as soon as you realize there’s a mistake in your delivery address, and we'll fix it as soon as possible.

I made a mistake on my order. Can you help? +

We’d love to help! Just send us an email at hello@akidsco.com with your order number, and we’ll reply as soon as we can!

One of my books was missing when my order was delivered. How do I get it? +

We’re so sorry we missed a book, and you should definitely get what you paid for! Contact hello@akidsco.com within 30 days of delivery to get that missing book shipped to you right away!

One of my books is damaged. Who can I talk to? +

Damaged books are the worst! We want to make it better. Email us at hello@akidsco.com within 30 days of your delivery and we'll get it all fixed.

Who do I talk to about returning or exchanging a book? +

Email us at hello@akidsco.com with your order number and we'll work from there!

Shipping

Can I get free shipping? +

Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer free shipping at this time.

Is there a faster shipping option? +

Yes! At checkout you can pay for expedited shipping that delivers in 3-4 business days. Expedited shipping for International orders is not available at this time.

Do you ship internationally? +

Yes! We ship internationally for both membership and a la carte orders.

***Please note that we are unable to ship internationally to countries in the EU at this time.

Are there any additional fees for international shipping? +

International orders may incur additional import taxes or customs fees, which are the responsibility of the customer.

Book Box Membership

Can I choose what books I get? +

You sure can! You can log into your membership portal here and customize each shipment to your liking. You’ll receive an email a couple weeks prior to your scheduled shipment date as a reminder too, just in case you want to double check!

Do I have to send the books back? +

Not at all! They're yours to keep and enjoy 📖

Will I have to pay for shipping? +

There is a shipping fee of $4.99 USD per shipment.

International shipping fees vary.

Can I skip a delivery? +

Absolutely. Email us at hello@akidsco.com and we’ll adjust your delivery schedule!

Do you offer international shipping for Book Boxes? +

Yes! We ship internationally for both membership and a la carte orders.

I already own some books. Will I get duplicates? +

Not unless you want them! Our Book Boxes are customizable, meaning you get to choose what titles are delivered.

When will I get my first Book Box? +

As soon as you subscribe, your first Book Box will arrive within 3-5 days.

How do I find out what books will be in my next Book Box? +

Log into your membership portal here and click on the subscription you want to manage. We'll also send an email before each Book Box ships confirming your order.

Can I really cancel my membership at any time or skip any box? +

Yup! Just log into your portal to manage your subscriptions. You can also email hello@akidsco.com if you need any further help.

How much does each Book Box cost? +

Pricing depends on which plan you choose:

1 Book — $15.95 USD +shipping

2 Books — $25.95 USD +shipping

3 Books — $35.95 USD +shipping

Can I include board books from the A Little Book About series in my Book Box? +

Absolutely!

How do I access my membership portal? +

First make sure you activated your account in order to access your portal. You can do that here. Sign into your portal anytime here at akidsco.com. Or click on the link provided in any email concerning your membership. Otherwise, email us at hello@akidsco.com and we’ll help from there!

What if I don't have time or want to pick my books each delivery? +

No problem! We’ve curated a great flow of books for you and will send them automatically if you choose not to customize your queue.

Are there any books that aren't available for the Book Box? +

If a book is not in stock, that title won’t be available to add to your queue. But don’t worry — you’ll be able to add it once the book is in stock. Otherwise, any and all books are fair game!

Gift Cards

How do I redeem a gift card? +

Just use the code sent to you via email during checkout to redeem your gift card.

Can I send my gift card to someone else? +

Yes! You can share the link to the gift card, forward the email, or print out the code old fashioned style and hand-deliver it. It’s up to you!

Can I combine my gift card with a bigger purchase? +

You bet.

What ages are your books for? +

All books in our A Kids Book About series are written and recommended for kids 5-9.

Our A Little Book About series is for kids 0-4.

Is there any way to take a look inside the books? +

Absolutely! We have example pages of each book on their respective product page on our website.

Are your books all hardback? +

Yup.

Do you have any other options? +

Aside from hardback, we do offer eBooks! We do not offer paperback books at this time.

What format are your eBooks in? +

EPUB.

What devices are your eBooks compatible with? +

EPUBs work with a lot of devices! Many devices have EPUB compatibility built in, but others may need to install an application to open and view epub files.

We’ve listed just a few of the most commonly used EPUB applications below, but there are hundreds more to choose from. Please note that we are unable to provide technical support for any of these applications.

Why does your eBook look weird on my Kindle? +

Currently, our eBooks are not compatible with Kindle devices, but you can purchase an eBook for the Kindle reader app directly on Amazon.com!

How do I download my eBook? +

When you make your purchase, you’ll receive an email shortly afterwards with the download link. Click that link and download the ebook to your device, and make sure you're using the the appropriate app to open the file (ex: Apple Books, Google Play Books, Adobe Digital Editions).

What ages are your podcasts intended for? +

Our podcasts are made for ages 6-12 and their grownups. Listen together, on the go, over breakfast or bedtime, or on your next roadtrip. Listen with the peace of mind that our shows were made with your kids in mind.

Are all of your podcasts free to listen to? +

What’s the best podcast to start with? +

We think all of our podcasts are awesome, but, like a good book, we know how important it is to find the one that’s best for you. Start with the podcast trailer to see if it’s one you and your kid will enjoy.

Do I have to subscribe to the podcast to listen to it? +

Nope. You can listen right from the website!

How can I play your podcasts on my phone or tablet? +

Access your device’s podcast app (Apple Podcasts, Google Play, etc.) or use your podcast app of choice. Search for any one of our shows, click on the logo, and select the episode you’d like to hear.

Do I need to listen to the episodes in order? +

Depends on the show, but usually no. We like to make our podcasts so you can jump in and get hooked at any point. And the past episodes will always be there waiting for you.

My kid would love to be on one of your podcasts. Is that possible? +

Absolutely! We love featuring the voices of kids whenever we can. Write to hello@akidsco.com and we’ll send you the details for recording for our various shows.

Spread the word! Recommend a show or an episode to your friends, family, a favorite teacher, or just someone you think needs to hear it. Follow the show on whatever platform you listen. Write us a review on Apple Podcasts (even if you use a different app to listen). Send us an email at hello@akidsco.com. Or just lean out of a window and shout your praises really, really loudly. Either way, we’re blushing over here. I promise.

Do you have transcripts of your episodes? +

Each and every one! Use the link on the website homepage to access.

Can I download the episode to share with others? +

Yes, but please be aware that the content of the episode is copyrighted material and should be treated as such. Please credit A Kids Podcast About and provide a link to the website where possible.
